Timely Thoughts For the Day

Seems to be a profound day. So here's what's hitting me:

1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spake as a child,
I understood as a child, I thought as a child:
but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Dancin' in the Streets
Callin' out around the world
Are you ready for a brand new beat?
Summer's here and the time is right
For dancin' in the street

They're dancin' in Chicago
(In the street)
Down in New Orleans
(Dancin' in the street)
In New York City

All we need is music, sweet music
They'll be music, ev'rywhere
They'll be swing an swayin'
And records playin'
Dancin-a in the street

Ooh, it doesn't matter what you wear
Just as long as you are there
So come on, every guy
Grab a girl, ev'rywhere around the world

They'll be dancin'
They're dancin' in the street

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
(American Standard Version)
1 For everything there is a season, and a time for very purpose under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

Keep your hand on the plow, people, we still have a ways to go.
