The Last Week Or So

Been watching American Idol.  Nice talent there this year and, thankfully, they're starting to lose some of the performers who are not quite ready for primetime.  Now, if we can just remove Jacob this week.  Nice young man, just not feelin' it, dawg.

As usual at the 'ol biblioteca, we're seeing lots of academic inquiry and the free exchange of ideas

Easter was, as always a blessed event.  In all seriousness, it is one of my favorite holidays.  Watched the Ten Commandments and was once again severely disappointed in the pharoah's behavior.

Along the Arizona border, the bearforce is back in training after winter hibernation

Arizona continues to be a very odd political place.  At least the bill that encouraged allowed any 'ol Joe or Jill to carry their guns openly and proudly in the library wasn't signed by the Governor.  Using the last few brain cells left for a moment of clarity, that one.

Despite that uncharicteristic moment of good sense, Arizona continues to lead the fight in border security.
